2 prong power cable for DV7600?

Not sure if this is the right forum, hope it is.

In a recent move, I somehow misplaced or discarded my power cord for a Marantz DV7600. It's the larger, 2-prong style at the player end, but I can't seem to find those anywhere. It's shaped like one of these, but this is 3 pronged...both on the connection end as well as the wall socket end. Does anyone know if the 3 prong will work, or know where I can find a 2 prong? Thanks for any help.

Do you happen to have any 3-prong connectors around the house? (If you have a desktop PC, I bet that you do.) If so, I say try connecting it to your Marantz to see if it fits. Based on images of the back panel, it looks like there's a good chance that a 3-prong plug will fit. The third conductor won't be used, but that won't hurt anything.

Yep, what he said. Standard IEC, so a 3 prong that fits will work just the same.

Thanks for the help guys. I do have a 3-prong style so I'm going to give that shot and see if it works.

Just some info, the third "conductor" someone called it, is the ground. The other 2 are the hot and neutral.
