5.1 to 7.1: Synchrony S's or another pair of Synchrony B's... hmm

Right now I have my bookshelves placed directly behind the primary seating position about 5' and very slightly toed in to my ears.

I've been reading that they should be more directly to the sides of me instead of right behind me the way I have them.

What do you think the ultimate Synchrony home theater setup would be? Another set of bookshelves or the dipole synchrony S's? Which would you place where if you suggest the Synchrony S's? In any case, it'd require going with another smaller amplifier 2-channel amplifier.

I vote for the dipole speakers.

I don't think another pair of the same bookshelf speakers will do much.

The Synchrony S is a tri-fold speaker, you have 3 options > bi-pole, di-pole or
dual monopole. This would be a good expierment for you.

I now only use regular bookshelves for my surround channels. Things sound too weird when something sounds like it is in one room/environment coming from the front and then a completely different room/environment coming from the back.
