So I am in the starting stages of upgrading my "music" system, which currently comprises of two Phase Tech Teatro 7.5s (http://www.phasetech.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?item=34) driven by a Pioneer VSX-710S A/V receiver and a Sony multi-disk universal player. (The Sony player was the "keystone" piece of equiptment that started my downward spire into home theater.)
This is going to be a "slow" upgrade process, as all of the gear is currently in the bedroom for saftey reasons (i.e., kids) and will not see the light of day for at least a few months. At any rate, I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about either of these two products:

Both seem pretty solid, although for pure music listening, I wonder if I should be looking at a better CD player to start.
