I was able to grab a pair of Boston acoustics A360's for a deal today at Pauls TV. My current setup is a Pioneer Elite Receiver with EMP E5TI Towers and Center. Elemental Designs sub. Although the Bostons are slightly taller I was wondering which speakers would be best for the front mains. Then of course I will use the other 2 towers as rears. Im not a spec guru, so here I am for your opinions again! Thank you

Here is the specs on the Bostons:

Your eyes would tell you to use the taller ones in the front. But, what happens sonically _ what our ears tell you _ might be a different story. You may have to experiment.

Timbre matched

Unless you can find a center that would be timbre matched to the Boston's, I would say continue to use the EMP E5TI towers as the fronts since you have the matching center already.

I also agree you should experiment and see what arrangement sounds best to you.

I completely forgot about the center matching the EMP towers..thats why i bought it to begin with. I agree with my eyes telling me to put the taller ones in front, but then again maybe the taller ones will go nice in the back since they are alightly taller than the couch back. I was just curious if there was a no brainer spec wise on what should go where.

Thanks for the input. I'll test them out and see what I end up with.
