I would set the crossover from KRK's to sub at at least 80hz possibly 100.Those KRK's are not going to produce 51 hz let alone 63hz so I bet it will sound much better moving your crossover point up to 80hz.Try that if you can.......

Done! I set to crossover to 80, then ran pink noise through my speakers and sub and adjusted the volume until both reached 75db. Is that correct?

What are those stands you've got there? Are they good decouplers?

I'm not sure what they are, honestly, but the work pretty well. I found them outside, and then I thought they'd be good for raising the speakers to ear level. Then I threw on some Auralex MoPads I had laying around, just because I could. The stands tilt the speaker upwards, and then the mopads tilt them downwards, kinda cancelling out any tilt, which is nice.

So, I'm no pro, but my ear thinks 51hz sounds better. Is this possible, or am I crazy?
