Home theater. Yeah. We get it.

As exciting as a big screen and comfy seats can be, we have pretty much seen it all. Of course, some of that “all” includes some pretty crazy stuff. Don’t even get us started on all of the “Star Trek"-themed theaters we’ve seen.

Each one of those homes has a special place in our hearts, as well as our web archives. However, there are some homeowners that went a little wild (and sometimes wacky) when it came to the tech features they decided to add into their spaces.

We still love the big screens and even bigger sound systems. However, here are a few of our favorite things that went above and beyond the realm of typical tech offerings.

Very cool.

Some comments:
"Double-digit TVs" - after converting their square footage down to mine, I only need two displays to keep up. Makes them seem like paupers, almost. :)

"Welcoming Waterfall" - I think that it would be cooler to have a sound-proof door between the waterfall and the theater, and to run the waterfall when the show is playing. That way, anyone who wants to interrupt the show has to get drenched. Better go to the bathroom before we start the ride, Jimmy.

I think the Vault one with the bank door was very pleasing to the eye.

Not got much to say on the people who have 24 LCD's between the 4 of them, personally I see it as a huge waste for various reasons, but this is probably not the best type of forum to express that, each to their own :)

I liked a few of them - the bowling alley was sweet and the bank vault in particular was very stylish. And the Batman office was nice too - but apparently some of those folks have way more money than necessary. :D
