13' Living room problems

my space from tv to sofa is 13' mounted on a brick fireplace. is a 6.5 R L Center as well as ceiling mount speakers going to fill the space in this room with good sound? End goal is to wonder if its raining in the house while a rainy scene of a movie is showing. Any help here would be great and it is 13' by 13'

it is my opinion that pretty much any room can be made to sound good (unless your picky). if your willing to put some effort into it. one good thing about a small room = speakers/amps are less expensive = you don't need larger stuff to make it sound good.

if what you have is 13x13'. then just DO IT.

do you plan to use the fireplace ?
