I used the trigger from my Yamaha RX-A1060 to operate a 12 VDC solid state relay that turns on the sub, (no sensor) and an AC Infinity S8 fan setup. See pic. The relay was a refurb unit from Ebay and the rest I picked up at the local "Big Box" store. Works for me! Oh, the plug came from Mouser.
