If all goes well I will be moving to Argentina in about a year or so. Unfortunately, the standard wall socket is 220V which will fry my components (My friend learned that the hard way when I gave him my gaming console).

I know there are converters but I have a lot of gear. Is there a surge protector/line conditioner that will accept a 220V connection and will keep me from having to buy multiple converters? Also, could the converters introduce any "noise" to my system?

Thanks

This might help

What you can do is contact Tripp-Lite and check into their Line Conditioners, they have a 220/240V 50/60Hz unit in 600w, 1000w, and 2000w and you can see if they have an adapter for the plug type for Argentina. That should work. But contact them and they should be able to help, and when you get the info (if they have something like that, get the model number and contact Parts Express and they can special order it for you.
