Hi. Are you referring to the Pioneer VSX-1018AH? If so, what error are you getting and when do you get it?

It is the HDCP error for that model. It happens when flipping from sources,but only happen somtimes.Thanks.

Is it causing you any video problems, or are you just curious why the error displays on the front panel? If there are no video issues, then don't worry about it. The following is from page 16 of the owner's manual, at the bottom in the "Note" section:
If you connect a component that is not compatible with HDCP, an HDCP ERROR message is displayed on the front panel display. Some components that are compatible with HDCP still cause this message to be displayed, but so long as there is no problem with displaying video this is not a malfunction.
If you are having video problems, let us know.

No video problems,even with a 30' hd cable.Very happy with 1018ahk on music.Its driving a couple of Polk VM20's and 30's with a micro 3000 for kicks.Here of any one putting the power to the VM's.Thanks for the reply.
