The maximum bandwidth required to pass HDTV signals is 27 MHz. The specs the receiver manufacturers give for their component video switching is usually -3 dB down (loss of half). So in theory a 50 MHz signal would lose no more than 3 dB and a signal about half that frequency should pass with little to no loss.
