10" plastic speaker cover to cover a hole

When I was building my home, I got carried away and pulled wires to all the rooms and placed two 10" speaker rings to each room. I want to slowly build up to a system that run those ceiling speakers over the years. In the mean time, I need to cover about 40 speaker holes in the ceiling throughout the house. Where can I find cheap plastic covers for these 10" speaker rings for the time being so my heated air does not evaporate to the attic?

Since you need forty, I'd try to make something from cheap material and improvise.
If it's a temporary situation, I'd get a big box of Styrofoam plates from Costco, and rig something up out of those.

A plumbing supply would have large blank valve cover plate, but it won't be cheap.
Times that by 40, and you'll understand why I mentioned Styrofoam or plastic plates.

20 room house?

I'm not sure what a speaker ring is, but if you can attach a grill to it, maybe you could invest in the grills now, and toss some dow foam over the top hidden side to stop heat loss.

That's ingenious. I hope my ceiling does not look like a dining table by the time I'm done. Off to Costco I go. Thx.

I just realized that some of the speakers are cheaper than the covers alone (covers are $45 EACH)! Perhaps I should put speakers in the holes instead of covers... seriously. Of course, I assume all speakers come with their own covers.

The installer placed 10" diameter purple plastic circular rings in the ceiling. Sheet rock is placed over and hole cut out along the ring line. I'd guess the speakers I need to buy are around 8" speakers to fit the 10" hole. Anyway, any suggestions on basic speakers. I don't want to break the bank on this as the speakers are for background music, and may be occasional crank ups.

This is a great deal. Thanks for finding it. I will contact Mono and see if the extra .2" in my cutout will create problems or not.
