If I decide to get an XPA-3 I just may put an active eq on the L,R channel. For now I am just using the Onkyo TX NR808 and and EP2500 on the subs. I took those damn A-500's back out of the loop for the last time. Those things really pis me off:mad:

Those would be perfect! but they have an f3 of 48:( Looks like a great speaker though.

If you can do it then by all means because It looks like a killer speaker. For the money I don't think you could do any better.

Thanks, but looking on infinity's site those appear to be exactly what I am trying to avoid. I need small D'Appolitio's that are tuned to start dropping at 70 or 80hz.

That was for a pair of MTM's with a few extra bucks thrown in for my own cabinets.

The TriTrix looks to be a great kit but it does require some wood working skills and tools. You might want to consider a kit with finished cabinets.

I bet the crossovers are not different! Same parts only tuned different. I have a call placed to Paradigm Tech support. Lets see if I can get any info from them.

Those are a version behind mine. I have v.3 which have a different woofer on the bottom.

Well I do know that when I put on a speaker that has a much higher F3 ( the atoms) the problem went away? I think that it is just a combination of the room gain and the fact that the speakers have an F3 of about 34. I do agree that a steeper crossover would solve the issue. However unless I...

I don't know but when I set the crossover to 80 and then look at pink noise with the RTA they don't start dropping off until 40hz. It also did this with my Yamaha receiver.
