It's definitely a 2CH rating as it states in their specs. It claims 900 watts max power consumption so if it was truly 140x9 ACD, it would have to consume > 1400 watts (assuming 90% efficiency). It's probably closer to 80-90wpc x 9 ACD which is still pretty good.

I will have my reviewer test for routing issue on RZ70. I heard the RZ50 has the nanny problem I noted about power tripping but haven't confirmed via my own testing.

I bought a 4 port auto switching 40Gbps HDMI selector from Gefen for like $70 that let's me connect all 4 of my game systems to 1 hdmi port on my AV10 in a remote location. No issue. Nobody is giving you the Onkyo amp section for under $3500. To me that's a far more important concern.

Nothing wrong with the Front HDMI connection if you want something quick and easy to access. It's impossible to offer 40GBps support on the front port without a separate HDMI board. I think it's a good compromise and I noted it in my unboxing video.

The LFE bass routing was a feature I asked Denon/Marantz for years. They finally were able to implement. Onkyo and others will likely copy in future models similar to how they did Preamp Disconnect (another feature I lobbied for) in AVRs.

I highly doubt the Pioneer or Integra will bench test any differently than the Onkyo. All 3 have identical power consumption ratings on the back panel. I asked Onkyo multiple times about this and never got an answer. I suspect same power across all 3 products, especially since Onkyo underrated...

I have NOT heard this. If anyone is a candidate for ART, it's Marantz/Denon, since they are the ONLY AVR manufacturer with 4 independent sub outs and Dirac support.
