I experienced this in the past when I tried to run each sub independent in my system as opposed to running a single correction curve for all subs. It's in my article that I referenced in a prior post in this thread.

I forgot to qualify that I use Audyssey MultEQ Pro in my setup. Mark Sanfilipo did test a Denon receiver with standard Audyssey but I don't see any rolloff caused by it. I suppose anything is possible. Next time I test a receiver with Audyssey I will test for this issue that you/others are...
