No this is a fullrange speaker. If you think about it, placing a pair of tower speakers at the front of the room about 1/4 L of the front wall left/right gives you pretty damn good bass response already. Eventually they may do a separate sub but for now you could always get their new SX-1212/R :)

Yes you pretty much got it. Line Arrays have interference in the vertical plane which designers try to minimize by narrowing the beam width vertically.

Yes that is true. A 75 ohm shielded video cable will work just fine for audio too. I use Belden 1694A for all of my analog A/V needs: Component Video Cables at Blue Jeans Cable If the Canare connector is too long for your needs, I believe they have right angle options too.
