Klipsch give you a lot of bass and treble and play loud. The SVS speakers seem to be voiced more tonally neutral. It all depends on what you're looking for. There is a lot of engineering in the SVS speakers from what I see and its definitely worth the wait.

That's a good question. Interestingly though for $2k/pair your getting high quality parts and construction with a real veneer wood finish. Some manufacturers charge 25-35% more for real wood and instead give you vinyl as their base price. $2k/pair for these looks like a real deal!
