Monster video cables are usually of good quality, but their terminations fit too snug on most gear. I prefer component video cables with Canare terminations from companies we have listed on our site as approved cable vendors (IE. Bluejeans, Cobalt, AVCable, River Cable, AVIC).

Rip; Denon have a receiver with i.link for about $1200. I believe you will see more receivers in this price class introduced at Cedia with i.link. Pre/pros are always a few generations behind on technology. I am working with a company that will be introducing a pre/pro for around $1500...

Be careful with proamps. They are usually designed for power and efficiency with little regard to noise control. In most cases you are better off with lower power, lower noise amplifiers in dedicated home theater amplifiers and even high end receivers. The AV123 combo does look promising...

Again there is nothing wrong with biwiring, but if you use a quality single wire to begin with there is no need for doing it other than to impress your friends :D

I haven't heard of Pacific cables but I will have to check them out. My recommendations based on experience are : Bluejeans Cable AV Cable Impact Acoustics Cable All of these are affordable and snake oil free ;)

Of course at frequencies where cable termination methods matter for speaker cables there is no amplifier gain available for it to become an issue, not to mention the brickwall filter in digital playback systems ensures signal attenuation greater that 100dB after 22kHz :)

Is this a joke or are you for real? Class A amps are far too inefficient (25% or less) for high power applications such as a subwoofer. In addition, the higher linearity of such amps are not necessary for subwoofer applications.

KJ; At this point I would suggest looking into a different product since the Z9 is not working out for you. We can't offer you any help since our experience is with the American model that has worked flawlessly in our tests.
