    THE ALL CHANNELS DRIVEN FALLACY

I am not sure where this 11 watt nonsense is coming from but you will almost never be running the same continuous signal into all channels simultaneously. Crowd cheering is not a continuous sine wave like the typical all channels driven test is. Also with most speakers, a few watts driven into...

    THE ALL CHANNELS DRIVEN FALLACY

A test that uses a VARIAC to hold the line voltage constant and does a momentary sweep (NOT Continuous power) with all channel driven into clipping.

    2006 EHX Show Report

Yes we are arranging a product review. They seem to be a very nice and down to earth bunch of folks. The build quality of these speakers was mind boggling for the price. I can't believe they sport WBTs at $200/pair! We are looking forward to testing them. Stay tuned...

Buc; Rather than firing the sub driver at the listening area, try firing it towards the back wall and see if it further smooths out bass response. Its a good trick that can sometimes help.

You may be right actually. I am going out on a limb from memory of 2 years ago. Perhaps I should just keep it generic and verify next year at the show

    Bands with two drummers?

Glad to hear that. I absolutely loath the sound of electric drums from the 80s to early 90s. It sounded like crap then and sounds even worse now IMO.

RBH Sound Signature SE/R System Review

I am not sure what you mean by the "same lines" as the older RBH subs. RBH is not a direct to consumer retailer and thus not a direct competitor of HSU/SVS. Their new subs will be very impressive to say the least. But I cannot get into any further details until the official press release.

    Bands with two drummers?

That is correct. Bill Bruford and Allan White, though they only played together in the Union tour from what I can remember. Oddly, Bill used to smoke on the drums but over the last decade or so he really petered out IMO and relied too much on electric drums. On the other hand Allan White...

Haha I used to take the day off from work when new gear arrived for my system. I remember the feeling. Take your time to set up everything properly. You have made a wise upgrade decision. Enjoy!

RBH Sound Signature SE/R System Review

Both myself and Clint had a reference system comprised of the 1266's, 661's and 61'se's though mine were all LSE versions :D I later traded up the 1266-LSE's to the T2p system. I shed a few tears when I let the 1266's go. They were the first full range speaker system that I would consider to...

RBH Sound Signature SE/R System Review

The 1266-SE/R top half is virtually identical to the 661-SE/R except the former is crossed over higher (for good reason too) than I would recommend should one consider running 661-SE/R's with self powered subwoofers. Given the following choice when assembling a HT System: 1) 1266-SE/R and no...

RBH Sound Signature SE/R System Review

The 1266 has a separate enclosure for the mids/tweets and is about the same volume as a 661-SE/R, though the 661-SE/R is a ported design and a bit more efficienct since it isn't padded down to match sensitivity of the 12" side firing woofer.

RBH Sound Signature SE/R System Review

If you are setting up a home theater system, I would suggest going with 661-SE/R's with 2 subs over 1266-SE/R's. It is difficult to properly integrate a full range speaker such as a 1266 with additional subs. The reason most people don't think a good bookshelf speaker with subs can compete...

RBH Sound Signature SE/R System Review

I am not sure about a 15% price increase but I did hear they are increasing their prices very soon. It has been two years since their last price sheet was released and rumor has it they are about to launch some additional product upgrades in different models.
