Boe; Thats a great question and we plan on covering DD + and DTS ++ in the near future, though I wouldn't hold my breath for the release of these formats. Keep in mind they are also useless without supportive software and I feel we are still a # of years away from that.

While there is a measurable difference (mostly in resistance) between 10 and 12 AWG, it likely wont be audible, especially for the lengths you are dealing with. However, there shouldn't be too much of a difference in price between the two so I would always pic the 10AWG of similar cable...
