I would say that many of them are unrevealing of real world issues. The NRC testing methodology is often very kind to speakers that may or may not have design issues and/or limitations.

No, my rear channels aren't running full range. They don't dip down to 2 ohms and their volume level is set lower since they are closer to the listening position.

Possibly, but it's not really a concern of mine. Fidelity first and so far I haven't found a Class D amp that keeps up with the very best in linears for full frequency applications, especially at the power levels I'm using.
