    Klipsch RP-1400SW 14" at $700 or RSL 12S 12" at $800 or Monolith M15 used $750. Who wins?

Performance wise, they are similar....build wise, I don't have a Monolith to compare. Shady says both are very well made. But, you don't see RSL discounting to the extreme like Monolith and Klipsch do. That says something....to me anyhow.

    Subwoofer advice: closed or ported?

Not sure yet, I’ll probably soon move into a new place (still searching) and that’s where I’ll want a sub. Will depend on the living room layout. But assuming it’ll need to be limited to a 12” sub, especially if I might spring for 2. Is Rhythmik also a brand worth considering? Or not anymore...

Has there been an issue with Monoprice speakers?

The in wall monolith LCR THX. 3 of them. The square looking ones not the long looking ones. Plus 4 6.5" alphas for my atmos and 2 8" alphas for my surround. Going to do a 5.1.4 setup. I think I have a line on a 12s RSL so Im doing it.

Audioholics reviews for Tonewinner subs please?

...performers in their line-up: D6000 = 15" D8000 = dual opposing 15" driver D8000 Pro = dual "in line" 15" driver (similar to Monoprice Monolith M-215) D9000 = 18" driver And they come with app control which looks like a result as these are heavy subs. At the moment Tonewinner haven't...

Marantz Cinema 30 AVR to Replace the SR8015

As PENG says, perhaps not "SOTA" for most amps. But I should have said "Prestigious high-end brands", not SOTA. ATI, NAD, McIntosh, Cary Audio, Anthem, Krell, Bryston are examples of "prestigious high-end" brands to me.

...svs is very appealing and may very well be the best option for you. My window shopping includes Rythmik, PSA(the owner cofounded svs), HSU, monolith, starke, arendal, paradigm and of course RSL. Just bringing a different perspective here. Truthfully, every sub mentioned will be an upgrade...

...theater use. Difficulty in finding them for auditioning at retailers might be a red flag. Brands you mentioned (SVS, Rythmik, REL, Hsu, Monolith): These are all well-regarded subwoofer brands for home theater. They offer a variety of models to fit different budgets and performance needs...

    Monolith Encore T6

That's a shame unless they are coming out with something new. A little concerning as well. Monoprices Monolith line has been kindoff quiet lately

Monoprice Monolith MTM-100 Powered Desktop Speaker Review

Ever since Monoprice launched their Monolith product line in 2016, they have produced a variety of products that had to be taken seriously within the sphere of high-fidelity audio. Even though we at Audioholics have reviewed quite a few Monolith products, we have only managed to cover a fraction...

LOL wasn't your title, sorry. Sometimes best to start your own thread in the future, tho. What was said earlier in this thread still leaves what question for you?

5 Killer $2k/pair Tower Speakers Compared for 2019

...to research more on what has changed in the mean time. In case someone is still checking this thread: Can anyone speak to how the Monoprice Monolith THX-465T speakers would fit into this line-up? I've gone in on their bookshelf speakers, a sub, and an amp. Their towers came out about the same...

Monolith Audition T5 Floor-Standing Speaker Review

Monoprice has had a variety of great choices for audiophiles on a tight budget as we have seen in past reviews. Our review of their MP-T65RT towers showed them to be highly competent for their incredibly low price, and our review of their Encore T6 Towers showed performance that punched way...

Polk HTS 12 vs RSL Speedwoofer 10SMK2

I believe the monolith 12 is free shipping and still on sale for $699, so that might be another good choice if you don’t mind the size and weight. :) Dimensions (H x W x D): 22.8" x 16.7" x 23.6" Net Weight: 98.5 lbs.

5 Killer $2k/pair Tower Speakers Compared for 2019

...right after @shadyJ 's review of them was posted). I really liked what I bought, and sort of set my roadmap of incrementally building up a Monolith system at that point. When Monoprice introduced other lines in the Monolith range, I didn't really pay attention since I already had a plan...

Same deal as the Klipsch...Im sure it goes boom pretty good...is it the same quality as an RSL ? Oh hell no.... Monolith makes decent products though. They aren't RSL.

Yamaha AVENTAGE 2021 AV Receivers Bulk Up on Power and 8K Features

Ya, it seems like ATI dropped out after the HTP-1 for Monolith. I think Marantz nailed it on all the features, but Cost is still too much for most people to really consider very easily, same goes for Anthem. Then I still see a lot of comments showing dissatisfaction with the JBL SDP and other...

    SVS PB1000 Pro

Your thoughts on the Hsu vs the Speedwoofer12S! In error, I left it out of the conversation! The Speedwoofer12S should clearly be a high ranking contender for anyone shopping in the under $1000 subwoofer range.
