Banning the term climate change won’t stop the reality

It's obvious you don't have a science background to make such claims. If you truly understood what it meant to follow a strict scientific protocol or 3rd party peer review and the meaning of a scientific concensus than you wouldn't be making such claims. Crap NASA says there is 97% consensus...

How can anyone share NON political thoughts about a piece that was written by a highly politicized and highly biased individual with vested interest to discredit manmade climate change?

Really, he has no vested interest either? He's not just a hired shill to again confuse the science to the general public? hmm. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patrick_Moore_(environmentalist) In a December 2007 press release from his Greenspirit firm, Moore was quoted as saying, "It's...

Not sure but it doesn't matter. Joanna is NOT a climate scientist and she has a vested interest. She has NEVER submitted any of her propaganda for peer review.

Paradigm SA-25 Reference In-Wall Speakers Review

The Paradigm SA-25 speaker system is part of their reference collection and represents their best offering in a two-way in-wall. It features a 6.5” phase plug aluminum cone woofer and 1” gold anodized aluminum dome tweeter. It has been awhile since I’ve reviewed a Paradigm speaker but I’m glad...

Banning the term climate change won’t stop the reality

Sorry but your opinions are political if you're equating real peer reviewed science as being a fraud or set up as a global conspiracy for profiteering by the 1%. This is the same rhetoric heard on Fox News and Conservative Talk Radio. So I guess NASA, the Pentagon and the entire world...

Good points and agreed. WE need to harvest Helium-3 from the moon to do fusion. China is in a race to get there first :) The problem is it's extremely expensive to transport that energy back to earth unless we can do it wirelessly.

Nuclear is only carbon neutral when the plant is generating energy. And its a slow and expensive and resource intensive process to build such a plant. This article shows discusses some of that. Note I am NOT anti-nuclear but it's not without its issues...

Agreed. They are already preparing New York for this and countries like Australia are way ahead of the curve too. The Pentagon considers the impacts of climate change an immenant threat. Lovely Ted Cruz is doing everything he can to stop Nasa from continuing to study it.

Yes because there is more profit in climate science than big oil. Give me a break. I have a brother (Dr. Dominick DellaSala) who is top of his field in Ecology and an expert on the impacts of climate change. He lives pretty frugally as most scientists in his field. Most of these guys are in...

You can't. I'm a realist :) The damage is done and we can't change on a global scale to have a significant impact. All we can do now is adapt to the changes (those economically fortunate enough) and try to reduce emissions overtime to reduce the impact in coming centuries. It's not just...

Banning the term climate change won’t stop the reality

Man made climate change is real and it is happening. There is a scientific consensus on it's cause. Just b/c one political party in our country continues to deny it, doesn't make it untrue. Sadly human nature will likely preclude us from making the necessary changes to combat it. The...

I'm not opposed to opening up political debates again but I'd defer to the judgement of our mods who would have to police them. The life of this forum was sucked away by our social media (facebook and youtube). Seems like those two platforms have grown exponentially for us over the last year...

JL Audio E-Sub e110 and e112 Subwoofers Review

The Velodyne SPL-1200 is a nice sub but the JL Audio e112 is better in every category of performance. You would have to move up to a DD-12+ or 15+ to match the JL performance.
