The Yamaha has about as big of a power supply and 4 output devices/ch instead of 2. It also runs extremely cool to the touch. If I were only doing 2CH I would go this route over a $1k AV Receiver personally.

You make good points and so far nobody has successfully been able to characterize human preferences with distortion to any degree of certainty. However one point I'd like to make, if an amplifier does well distortion wise with a single tone FFT and sine-sweep, it will also do well with IMD too...

Don't get me wrong the HD600s are great units. It's just the RBH's are so incredible and I can't believe the price they will be selling for initially. I recommend holding out if you can. Yes we will be reviewing them.

I didn't. I was there to cover the show and meet with clients. Harman was particularly cool and did set up a special demo for us. I enjoyed meeting their top people including Dr. Sean Olive. What a great show CEDIA was this year!
