I grew up on metal also. I loved Blue Oyster Cult, Kiss, Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Van Halen, etc. My tastes have mellowed a lot since then. (Though Rage for Order by Queensryche, any Joe Satriani, and the first 3 BOC albums remain favorites.)
