Curious to know what volume (SPL in dBC) you guys listen to with speakers + subs, and then turn off the subs to see what volume the speakers are playing without the subs.
For example, I've listened to a max volume of 108dBC before, but when the subs were turned off, the speakers were only playing a max of 87dBC from 12ft distance from 2 speakers.
This means from a single speaker, each channel of amp only had to drive a 84dBC volume (3dB increase for doubling speakers).
This means if the speaker is 90dB/2.83v/m, the required power is 3 watts (12ft).
For a distance of 20ft, the required power is 9 watts.
30ft is 21 watts.
