The proper way to handle long run HDMI with near perfect reliability is by using HD-Base-T. This technology utilizes a single Cat-5e/6 cable. It is a point to point connection similar to using a HDMI cable, but uses a much better transport method for this delivery. It will carry HD audio, 3D video, and is capable of carrying additional information such as Ethernet (up to 100Mbs) IR, and/or RS-232 control information.
Monoprice sells a unit which I have tested up to 300 feet with a 1080p connection.

They have a number of other products which indicate that they can do what you want - do not use them, they are not at all reliable. HD-Base-T is an international standardized product which is used by dozens of manufacturers including Panasonic, Crestron, Extron, AMX, and a long list of others.
