What would be the most economical way to run a 1.3 HDMI signal 200ft while ensuring stability and performance?

I think there are HDMI extenders that use Cat 5e or Cat 6. You can probably find them along with user reviews at Parts Express.

You can take a look at BJC and at the bottom the page they have a HDMI booster available, they have achieved excellent 1080P transmission over 145' distances with no signal loss without the booster. Give them a look.

The proper way to handle long run HDMI with near perfect reliability is by using HD-Base-T. This technology utilizes a single Cat-5e/6 cable. It is a point to point connection similar to using a HDMI cable, but uses a much better transport method for this delivery. It will carry HD audio, 3D video, and is capable of carrying additional information such as Ethernet (up to 100Mbs) IR, and/or RS-232 control information.

Monoprice sells a unit which I have tested up to 300 feet with a 1080p connection.

For only $180.90 each when QTY 50+ purchased - HDMI® Extender Using Cat5e or CAT6 Cable - Extend Upto 328ft

Besides the part linked above, they also have part numbers: 8122, 8123, 10225, and 10224.

They have a number of other products which indicate that they can do what you want - do not use them, they are not at all reliable. HD-Base-T is an international standardized product which is used by dozens of manufacturers including Panasonic, Crestron, Extron, AMX, and a long list of others.

More importantly - it works.

I think the best approach is to reconsider the placement of the gear so one does not need such a long run. But if one insists on it, then I think this is the right answer.
