Say what you will, but In 2011, he donated a majority of the company in the form of non-voting shares to MIT to sustain and advance MIT’s education and research mission.

I'm not a fan of big business and marketing hype by any means. But as a scientist, I appreciate what he has given back to the scientific community.

To be clear:
I'm neither a fan or a detractor of Bose.
I was poking fun at the individuals that wouldn't know propaganda or marketing hype if it bit them.:)
