Obviously book #2 is the best in the series :p

I suddenly feel the urge for a pan-galactic-gargle-blaster

The effect of a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster is like having your brains smashed out by a slice of lemon, wrapped 'round a large gold brick. It has also been described in the novel as the alcoholic equivalent to a mugging; expensive and bad for the head.

What's the question :D

Book #1 is the best ..... IMHO
How many minutes should you take for lunch! Here's my theory on the question.
In the third book, "So Long and Thanks For All The Fish" the Guide mentions a
race that had three major questions in life. (or something to that affect)
1) Why do we eat?
2) How do we eat?
3) Where shall we have lunch? Add to that, that the Earth is the computer made to find the question.
And that IBM, one of the largest computer companies on the Earth, has decided
that the ultimate amount of time to spend on lunch is 42 minutes.
It seems to me that the 4th major question, or in better terms, the ultimate
question to life the universe and everything is, "How many minutes should we
take for lunch?"

Definitely good books. I can't quite look at mice the same way.

Ever notice that lunch ladies tend to look like Vogons?

I also can't get that image of Zooey Deschanel in the shower out of my head...

Vogons......... ooooog scary stuff

One of my favorite moments were those intelligent escalators that would predict where to go in order to be at the correct floor at the right time so people wouldn't have to wait for the lift.... So those lifts got together and found out that they were too intelligent to do this simple job of just moving people around so they went to strike ....... ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
