First you say you're lackig bass. Now you're complaining about too much?

Anyhow, boost the center a bit to being up the voice track somewhat. ...or back off the bass. Whatever.

What receiver model do you have? You need to run Mic calibration that comes with your receiver to get you the best sound for your room. After you are done with mic calibration I assume you know already know that you manually set your speakers crossover to 80 hz(THX standard) front speakers, center, surround and 120hz for sub. Also set all your speakers to small. Make sure you read the those articles and videos I linked. Also make sure you plug your sub cable to the Right jack and not left on your sub. Hope this helps.

You can't. I hate to have to break it to you, but that unit is described incorrectly by Polk. It is a bass module not a sub.

The F3 is 40 Hz which is well above sub range. Some good bookshelves can get close to that, and any decent tower should reach that point.

You can equalize a ported enclosure to extend frequency response.

As stated - the Polks don't have the ability to bring the bass that you want. For what it's worth, when I replaced an old BIC that was roughly equivalent to the PSW10 with a Rythmik LV12R, I found that after recalibrating, the system is remarkably clearer. Dialog was much better and of course the bass is awesome. The sound of the system is just amazingly better. You need a real sub that can get down low, otherwise the tendency is to boost what you have, and it's usually too high in frequency.

PS: My wife had the same complaint - she agrees things sound a lot better. Lucky for me, the BIC burned its amp out, so I HAD to get a new sub... :) As quoted elsewhere though, "you're spending HOW much for ONE speaker?" :)
