Well my point being, turning off the EQ will tell you if your issue is being caused by the EQ. Is this the case?

My problem is the EQ not wanting to use the center for dialogue...so clearly it's the problem. What I'm trying to discover is whether or not the receiver is correct from an analysis standpoint or just broken.

Ahh, gotcha. Well I it's really hard for me to imagine that the EQ could correctly decide to offload all of the center for any reason, but that is a difficult question to answer.

Well Sherwood finally responded to my support question and told me they don't believe anything is malfunctioning. Told me to try a measurement off-centered and that it's a room response issue...I guess some DIY Broadband Bass Traps are in order.

For the off-center measurement, I would try finding the spot that sounds best w/o EQ on and measure from there.
