Rippyman Audioholic May 4, 2013 #6 Finally got things setup. All I can say is WOW! I'm very happy. My HT room is in my basement, 3 walls are concrete, floor, concrete, and it still fills the room with deep full bass, I love it!

The Velodyne and Sunfire were overpriced and the Paradigm and James were decent, but didn't blow me away. After a couple years of reading nothing but amazing reviews about the SVS, I decided to bite the bullet. I'm very happy with my decision.

GlocksRock Audioholic Spartan May 10, 2013 #12 Congrats on your new toy, now you will have to watch some good bass heavy movies. Thor, Terminator Salvation, and Underworld: Awakening are excellent choices, as well as Tron Legacy and War Of The Worlds.

Rippyman Audioholic May 10, 2013 #13 Planning on watching Jack Reacher tonight, not sure if it has any heavy bass or not.

There just wasn't enough data out there to justify a blind order for Funk Audio. Hopefully they provide places like Audioholics and other reputable audio information sources to test their products so that people like myself will feel more comfortable ordering from them. I think a company like Funk Audio needs to provide more information and photos for their products, right now it just doesn't cut it, especially when you are spending thousands of dollars.
