Di/bi/mono pole in open concept living room and placement

Looking to find my surrounds to go with my Emp Tek EW on walls. My living room is an open concept to the kitchen and dining room. Which would be best? Dipole, Bipole, Omnipole or Monopole?
I have read all I could about what they are and how they work, but I was a little confused since most of the studies had a back wall.

They will be mounted a little higher since those windows are in the way or possible to the right of the windows. I'm really having trouble deciding where to put them.

Here is my living room. The brown line between the kitchen and living room is just for show on the drawing. <= 200 for surrounds budget.

Here are some actual pictures.

Nice pics! I'd go monopole or bipole on stands slight behind you at 110 degrees. Dipoles need wall reflections and you won't have that on one side.

No stands. WAF. Must be mounted on wall.

You can get aimable in ceiling as well as bi/dipole in ceiling. Since no stands, then go with one of those options. Wall mounted bipoles would rely on wall reflections exactly the same as dipoles.

Is it worth the hassle over monopole?

Forget monopole, dipole, and bipole for a moment. We need a place to put your speakers before we can decide what directivity is best. Will your wife accept speakers (and maybe a little cable) hanging from the celing?

How much we talking? Could you provide a picture? I would have to show her.

I can try to find one. I am in no way a cable managment expert, but you could just wire the two cables you need from your amp across the celing to your speakers.. They wouldn't be visible unless someone stares at your celing. You could also wire in-wall but that's a pain in the *** if you want to change your setup.

I saw those on a4l but the color wouldn't look good with our color scheme. I was disappointed lol

Are you speaking of the setup on the first page with the back facing us?

I'm speaking about the picture I linked earlier. The speakers are hanging from the ceiling via ceiling mount.

I don't want to sound unappreciated but, wouldn't that still need the back wall?

Thanks for the link. I'm toying with the idea of bipole speakers for surround and back speakers and these look pretty good. These and the Fluance AVBP2 are both very cheap bipole designs that seem to be a great value. I wonder which would be a better speaker? The Mordaunt FR is down to 70hz while the Fluance FR is down to 130hz. I'd rather have a speaker that will let me cross my sub at 80hz, but 120hz is doable, but not preferable.
