Hey all!
I just picked up an HTR-5960 over the weekend, and have a Polk Audio RM6750 system for the speakers (it's a 5.1 setup, might go to 7.1 eventually). Either way, the HTR has A and B setups for the front two speakers. Right now, I have the left and right front speakers in the A setup, and the left/right inputs from the subwoofer going into the B setup. Center channel is plugged in and working properly. Lastly, I have the two rear speakers in the surround sound section (rear) of inputs for the receiver. Everything seems to be hooked up properly. However, the situation I'm getting right now is that I'm either getting the system to only have sound coming out of the left, right, and subwoofers (A + B) or if it's a different mode, it'll only come out of the center channel speaker.
Obviously I'm missing something, but I'm not able to get sound out of all the speakers at once. It's either 3 speakers or 1 depending on the mode. Do I have to run the auto setup on it? Is there something I'm missing? I can't find anything in the owner's manual, so I'm definitely ignorant on the subject.
Thanks for the help.
