XPA-3 is on sale right now, but is about $100 above the XPA-200 still. IMO, the XPA-200 is most likely what I'd recommend too. The XPA-3 would be looking forward for when you get the matching center :)

Thanks for the recommendations though I'm confused about the input connections on the amps... just one connection per channel? What kind of connection is that? Do AVR have that kindof output to it?

"Pro" amp refers to something that would be used in a professional studio or like at a concert, etc... So not exactly intended for home, but you can still use one and it will do the same job.

Yes, one connection per channel. Not all AVRs have them, you need one with preamp outputs for the channels you intend to amplify. Some have them just for the main R&L channels and others have them for all channels.
