Feet for sub?

A while back I must have taken the sub's (Paradigm PDR-10) feet off and now have it sitting on a folded towel on a tile floor. Recommendations on how I should handle this, please?

Some questions - why did you take the feet off, and why are you now asking about them? Were you getting rattles from other things in the room, and the towel helped to eliminate that? Are you not happy with the towel anymore? Depending on why you are asking, you may want to look at the Auralex Gramma isolation pads for subs. People here seem to be quite happy with them. The HD model (which I bought) has a nice black cloth finish.

Screw 4 chunky self tapping screws into the base
Or get some of those felt funiture sticky backed things
(For protecting wooden floors )
Doesnt matter what you do though...ime ..pdr 10's will
Always make weird noises...cos they're s**t

2nd the motion for an aurelex gramma isolation platform.


If you are not looking to go that route. You can likely find some rubber feet with screws from a Lowe's or Home Depot that will be able to screw in the bottom of your cabinet.

Better at what? Should do exactly the same thing, so no.

You can also DIY a sub platform pretty inexpensively if you happen to have some packing foam already. I save mine when I get some that is dense enough to support a sub.

I would actually go with the sorbothane feet over rubber for a quick and easy solution. You can get them on amazon for about $20.

Didn't go with the sorbothane (although I do agree that it would have been best), instead used the hard felt discs that one puts under chair feet. Stacked a few to about a 1/2 inch and pasted to corners of sub. Appears to now be working just fine.
