And some things don't change at all

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace

You, you may say
I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people sharing all the world

You, you may say
I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Beyonce is definitely hotter.

I've never heard that song, but music is a matter of personal preference. You also need to remember you've forgotten plenty of bad songs from 30 years ago too.

Now shake it to this video.

Local radio station (WKLH) in Milwaukee was doing a list of the most politically incorrect songs. Some may have been politically incorrect, but also were rather terrible! Yes, there really isn't much effort or depth to the Beyonce song. But remember, the 70's brought us Disco. Each generation/decade produces it's own list of pop songs produced for only profit without and depth or talent to them.

Let's remember some great hits from the 1970's:
"Ain't Gonna Bump No More" by Joe Tex
"Disco Duck"
"Venus" disco version by Frankie Avalon
"Singing in the Rain" by Sheila B Devotion
"Baby Face" I don't know who sang this
"Loving You" by Minnie Riperton (side note, this song is sort of a guilt pleasure, I can listen but then it gets on my nerves about 1/2 way through)
"Afternoon Delight" by Starland Vocal Band (I vacilate on this one, but the off-key singing has me putting it on the list)

I'm sure there is plenty more.

I guess this is entirely appropriate to this thread. Oh, and the chick is kinda cute too :)

Also guessing Freddie wouldn't lipsynch the National Anthem

Well, Beyonce was hotter back when she was in that Austin Powers movie, IMHO. I watched the YouTube video of Queen at the Live Aid concert and they just owned it. I might even prefer a holographic Freddie Mercury at the Super Bowl.
