Need Help Repairing A Zenith Console Record Player

I have a Zenith console record player that needs attention. I had to store it for a few months, and the platter (not sure if this is the proper term, but what the record sits on) is plastic and became warped, pulling away from the metal plate below it. How do I find a replacement part for this? I am also assuming I need to replace the needle (not sure this has ever been done). How do I go about finding a replacement needle for this? All I can tell is that the arm is a microtouch 2G. Any help is appreciated.

What brand was the actual record deck, and do you know the cartridge manufacturer? You will have to look on eBay for used parts. The cartridges are very difficult to find. Astatic have replacement styli for some models.

Basically these units were low end and in my view not worthy of the time or bother of restoration. But as is in all these matters there are collectors and restorers of just about anything. Your unit would not make my list and I doubt there is anyone on these forums with an interest in that type of gear. You should look for an antique radio/radiogram forum for further advice. We will not be much help to you. Sorry.
