Hot headphones Lost on new ones

I think I may end up keeping both however. The 880's do have a very nice open sound...The bass is better on the HD650 and is tighter as well.
It's strange. The Beyers almost sound a little cleaner if that makes since.
Hard to describe the two...I like both but the Senn's are more fun to listen to.

+1 for your ears. Incidently, your thoughts mirror the reviewer's comments on the two.

I do like the Beyer 880's a lot. The clean highs do sparkle. They just need more low end.
Does Beyer make an 880 with more bass or low end? Model number ??

So the more and more I listen I think the Beyer's are starting to win me over.. They are just super clear and detailed to me.. I am going to throw this out there. If I send both back, I am near the cost of each makers higher end phones.

The Senn HD 800 headphones are absolutely the best you can get without going to very expensive electrostatic phones. If you are in that class you really only have one choice.
