If you were to buy a REFURBISHED AVR from AC4L for $600, which one would you buy?

Like the title says. I've been looking at the Denon, but I've recently started looking at the Manratz, but can't decide.

denon 3312ci, but I think its closer to $700 havent checked in a while, the 809 may be around $600 that a good avr too... they also have some good marantz units in that price range sr5007 and sr6006....
I would be between the 3312 and the pioneer 1222k new on sale at newegg for $550-600 usually... The pioneers amp section interests me, a true 600w all channels driven, but no triggers, so keep that in mind if you are going to separates you will need to use something to trigger external amps, not usually a deal breaker.......

I've looked at the 1222k as well, but I am thinking of using an external amp. in the future so I suppose 12v triggers are necessary, but I am not sure yet. Still looking around.

Used usually has no warranty (unless manufacturers will transfer, not aware if they do or not), but refurbished has a 1 year warranty. Something to keep in mind.

When you buy from AMAZON, USED is considered by DENON SUPORT to be OPEN BOX and will carry the same warranty as NEW. You can call Denon and ask. I've asked them twice.

It is like walking into a local Best Buy store and purchasing an open-box Denon.

I picked up a Pioneer 1222K from NewEgg at a good price (I think 599 or so) but it had serious HDMI handshake issues so I returned it for a refund. Took a chance on a refurb Marantz SR5007 on AC4L (same price) and splurged 29 bucks for an additional 2 years coverage (Marantz covers one year on refurbs).

Been about 2 weeks, so far just great! I like the sound of the Marantz better (totally subjective, of course), and the setup was way less complicated. Using the pre-outs to hook up an Outlaw 755 and 2 Outlaw 200s. All is well except for maybe the klugey iPhone app, but maybe just haven't played with that enough. If you haven't already pulled the trigger, happy shopping!

Agreed, my 3313 is good to go from A4Less after four months now.. Bought the 3 yr extended for 49.00. I keep a cooling fan on it and no problemo :)

When you buy a refurb receiver from ac4less should you expect it to look cosmetically new or are dings and scratches the norm?
