Dave Brubeck passes

Very sad day. RIP Dave.

Brubeck died Wednesday morning at Norwalk Hospital of heart failure after being stricken while on his way to a cardiology appointment with his son Darius, said his manager Russell Gloyd. Brubeck would have turned 92 on Thursday.

My father is a huge Dave Brubeck fan. He took me a few times to see Brubeck play along with his sons. He was one of the greats and will be missed.

Yeah, that's one of those SACDs that went through the roof as it got harder to find. I listened to it last night. Concord was his home town.
