I was having a conversation with my brother a few minutes ago, and I had a couple of my workers install a nice camera system at his house when he bought it, he just called me to find out how to turn it on, he has lived there for over a year!!!
He want's to turn it on because he has something eating his landscaping so after I had him go to the panel it turns out it has been on and he never knew it, he put his tv on hdmi 3 and vawala 10 cameras of his yard... But he has no idea where the controller is, so he is going to order one because you cant rewind with out it...
I use mine all the time, it emails me when the motions get kicked and I can watch the ups guy drop packages on my porch from my phone... I have 4- 1 tb hard drives and can keep 4 years of video from all 16 cameras... I have them from the front gate to the entry to path that cuts into the woods.... When my yard was dub up before the grass went in I ran all the tubes to snake wires where ever I thought I would need them..
But anyway, Im kind of pissed I went out of my way to make sure he had a camera system and he doesnt even use it..
