i need help in deciding weather to buy the Panasonic TC-P50U50 50 inch 1080P Plasma for $539 or get the Samsung PN51E530 51-inch 1080p Plasma for $569...anyone have any recommendations?

And for those that say Panasonic please give me an explanation of why?? i notice the samsung is normally way more expensive i figure there must be a reason why but i cant see why

Pretty much everyone on this forum will tell you that pannasonic plasma is the plasma on the market. I own the p50u50. Its a pretty basic plasma, but has a outstandaing picture. Its a bit dimmer then most plasmas. You just need to tweak the settings a bit. I used rhe munsil bkuray.

Whar you'll want to do is go tk best buy and check them out side by side. Please feel free to ask any questions.

If you can get a GT30/50 or ST30/50 they are highly recommended. I'm leaning towards the 30 since they are lower in price.

thanks guys..i was trying too keep it around my budget of $500-$650

i ended up going with the Samsung PN51E535 / PN51E535A3F as it seemed like the the glare was less when i checked it out in store and i also like the trim better than the panasonic and it was a inch bigger :) thanks again guys for the input

I would have went with the Panny but when it comes down to it you honestly can't go wrong with either TV.
