I bought a couple things I don't need...
I grabbed one of the emp 1010i subs for $299 {I am going to set up a surround system in the guest parlor in the near future {by summer time} and its a small room only 20x11 with 8ft ceilings so this will be plenty...

Next I grabbed a UMC200 from emotiva but I didnt use the Black friday sale since I had the upgrade certificate from my umc1 which is going to get moved to the fore mentioned surround sound...

So I think thats all Im going to buy, I dont see anything else that interesting..
Although I almost bought one of the newegg pioneer 1222k's instead of the emo.. $550 is tempting, but the umc200 and a upa500 will only cost me $750, if I decide to pick a upa500 up this year too..

My damage so far has been minimal. A couple of $4 blu-rays and one $9 blu-ray today, and a $9 blu-ray yesterday.

The day before, I ordered a DVD and a (region free, PAL/NTSC) blu-ray player for my parents, but they weren't on sale.

I've bought a ton of Blu-Ray's and video games that have been on sale super cheap at Amazon the past few days ($290 worth). No speaker specific upgrades though - those would require a quite a few more $$$'s than I'm willing to part with at the moment.

Planet of the Apes

I picked up all of the Planet of the Apes movies on Blu-ray , including the most recent installment from this past year, for around $32. That comes out to about $4.50 per movie. I'd been waiting for quite some time for the right price and I don't think it's going to get much better then that.

I don't know about Soundman, but Adam and I got our from Amazon. All last week there were blu-ray sales on lightning deals, some for $4, others for $9 All of them were under $10 I believe except for the Bond box set which was $99.99 for 22 movies

i use a wireless "trackman" for my living room setup. works very well where difficult to use a mouse

The Mrs. and me are celebrating a materialists ends free holiday. So, I bought only a Pioneer BS21 pair, Polk PWS10 (the price was acceptable and size considerations ) and Yamaha RX-V371 . Just kidding. All this is going to the Ma-in-law as her starter HT. Eventually the BS21s will become surrounds and I'll get her the FS 52 towers and matching center.
