Media room is primarily used for watching movies only.
Receive: Marantz RC5001sr
Front Speakers: Definitive Tech BP7002 tower speakers
Center Channel: Definitive Tech C/L/R/2300
Woofer: Definitive Tech Super Cube 1
Rear speakers: Philips unknown very very cheap
I would like to put decent rear surround speakers. Definitive tech's are expensive, I am looking for a cheaper alternative.
Please advice what would go well with this setup?
Do I need to upgrade the receiver too to get the best movie experience? I had bought this receiver from craigslist and it is pretty old.
I will appreciate if you can help me select good speakers (may be receiver too) so that I may be able to grab some black Friday sale deals this long weekend.
