EMP Tek E5Bi and ES1010i sale

Pre-season sale as they're calling it.

The sub is going for $329, regularly $500.
The bookshelves are going for $162/pr, regularly $250/pr.

Haven't heard either of these personally, but I do have the E5Ti's and I enjoy those FWIW.


At any rate, seems like a good deal. The red burl finish on these speakers as well as the piano black baffle is very good for the price. Bit of noticeable orange peel if you get close, but great finish otherwise.

Every time i see the ES1010i up for sale I'm tempted. Would be nice to have the sub match my towers, but I'm just not convinced it's going to be much of an improvement over my current sub.

I know the feeling. I bought one during the last sale just because I thought it would look good with the SX4T towers, but the performance continues to impress me. Now that I've moved these speakers from a relatively small room to the larger living room, I'm very tempted to get a second ES1010i.

I'll be interested in hearing what you think. I'm starting to give up hope on Rythmik getting the FV12 back in stock, so this is sub is really looking good at that price.

Yeah, it's probably going to happen, I'll let you know if I do. Also thinking about getting a pair of the bookshelves, $160 is stupid cheap.

Ok, so I went ahead and ordered a single 1010i and if I like it I'll get another one before the sale is up.

I did decide to forgo the E5bi and am going to get a pair of the KEF Q300 instead. I've been wanting to try them out for awhile.

Last summer, they had a bunch on sale for $270 for the pair or so. Been watching them to see if they go on sale again, but haven't seen a sale on them since then.

Anyone else having problems adding items ot the cart? Tried to enter the bundle but all I get is "item no longer available". Same thing happened when I tried adding to cart as individual item.

One could only hope. The E41's are nice little guys to have around. They definitely aren't afraid to make their presence known when called upon though, I should point that out.

EMP responded and said the E5Ti will not be on sale anytime soon, unfortunately.

I heard the e5ti were going to be replaced totally by the e55. I have the e5ti and very happy. After I heard that I bought a pair of the e55 when they were on sale at a recent audio show. I haven't hooked them yet but will within the next week or so. I've bought 3 times from emp. once during turkey day for the e5ti. I hope they do a deal on that sub. If someone sees it before me pm me!!
