Walls are open...what's next?

I'm in the process of renovating a 100 year old craftsman home. All the stud walls are exposed so I want to run wires required for sound and media before putting up drywall. I wanna be WIRED FOR SOUND!
How do I rough in a media room and a second tv room in addition to running wires for a basic sound system throughout the house?
Forgive me for the rather broad question. I have very little knowledge about home A/V systems and i'm totally overwhelmed by the depth of information on audioholics.
I'd appreciate any advice on what and where to place wires and outlets for a custom setup that I can build upon for years to come.
Thanks in advance.

Decide what you want and where, and then put conduit from the points where you will have your main set up or set ups to the speaker areas and TVs.

Your post is too vague to help you further than this.

However the big take home is conduit, conduit and conduit.

What do you recommend for conduit?
Plastic drain pipes, are cheapest. Keep the turns gentle to make wiring easy to pull through. Use larger diameter pipe than you think you need. You want pull through with a snake to be as easy as possible, so you don't damage wiring.

I used metal conduit, as it provides an extra level of screening, but I had access to a power pipe bender.

Also often overlooked is adding backing in for where you plan to mount your TV, speakers on the wall, etc. Backing being pieces of wood like 2x10 or whatever you have handy, securely mounted to the studs flush with where the drywall will go in the areas you plan to screw stuff to the wall.
