Can't link it, so linked thread. Looks good, but based on that, it looks like it might have lost some of the funny and went just gore. NOTE: even the trailer is pretty graphic.

Had me worried there for a moment till I saw a glimpse of a chainsaw in the preview.
But then I read and find out the lead character is a woman??? WTF

Bet they won't even have a boomstick.

Yeah, I kind of figured that when she was cutting her arm. That IS kind of weird.

I watched the trailer and I have my doubts despite assurances from Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell that it's really good. There have already been two versions of this movie (Evil Dead II was a remake rather than a sequel), do we need another?

Plus, after Tucker and Dale and Cabin in the Woods, I think this subgenre has been pretty well played out.
