Is TigerDirect Good

I am long time customer of Amazon (Prime) and Costco. I very much like customer service, return policy and overall reliability.
I am planning to buy Pioneer speakers (thanks to IMCloud, FirstReflection) from tigerdirect. Was wondering
a. If tigerdirect is reliable
b. Do they happen to sell refurbished products as new.

Please let me know your feedback as I am going to buy first time from tigerdirect.

Tiger Direct is a reputable retailer. I'm unaware of any issues regarding them selling refurbished products not marked as such.

Tiger Direct is fine, but if you have a Best Buy close by, they are selling the FS52 at the same $100 price as TD. On something like FloorStanding speakers, I'll pay tax over risk shipping damage any day.

I ordered floor-standing speakers at bestbuy.com. Could not find central channel on BestBuy, so ordered at tigerdirect

Enjoy! I've mostly ordered computer components from them without any fuss, though my fancy schmancy surge protector/power filter came from one of their blow out sales. Suffice it to say, they're not a fly by night company or anything.

I've had no issues with items from them either. Just make sure you check their return policy as with any place, but I've never had to return anything to them.

TigerDirect often has cheapest price, but you pay the price later if you need to resolve any issues with product.
I had several bad runs-ins with them and I would highly recommend OP to skip them and look somewhere else.

The classic complaint about TD was their stratospheric shipping prices but they seem to be getting better. In the old days you'd find a widget with an MSRP of $100 on sale for $70 only to find out that the cheapest shipping option was another $50. They must have learned their lesson or hired a better shipping manager because I just bought a keyboard from them at a great price and with free shipping.
