John I'm not familar with the older models, could you be more specific, just curious.

Basically those ones that have the integrated grille over the drivers like the ones you listed. I believe those would be considered "last year's" models, aka the "1" series (current model of those is the FS52)? I looked on Tiger's site and couldn't find them, but found them via Tiger's Amazon storefront.

Thanks John, I thought there was an even older model, I am aware that the 51 designates last years model and the 52 is the current model which TD has I believe for $199 shipped. I just thought there were earlier models than the 51's. Thanks .

With out a doubt a true bargain, they aren't so bad looking, my 41's are quite attractive but that is secondary once you hear them, I would imagine they sound equally as well. Life don't you have the 52's, I liked Kurt's (KEW) review a lot and decided to get a pair of the 52's, and he liked my suggestion with reference to the 41's to get himself a pair to compare with the 52's, that's going to be interesting.

The series one (1) is still a good version - however, I like
the looks of the current (2) version better. > Also, I have
cleaned the wax out of my ears > and the (2) version is
a nice step up in sound for me. Some of the popular name

That's all I needed to hear, between you and Kurt expressing such high praise for the 52's, we may have the best budget speaker recommendation here. I thought that I heard they were to be reviewed in the November issue of Home Theater mag, got it and don't see the review, have I been mislead? Thanks

Do not know what happened to the review. Still waiting to see
what is going on. Maybe it will show up in December.
